What it does
Klaviyo events are sent with your own Klaviyo API key. A store that has not connected Klaviyo sends nothing, and Arc never falls back to a shared platform key.
Connector credentials are encrypted at rest, the admin shows only a masked hint, and disconnecting wipes the stored credential.

How it works
Connect a provider
When you connect a provider, Arc checks the credential with that provider first and reports a key that was rejected.
Choose the events
You choose which events each connector receives: a charge, a recovered payment, a failed payment or a cancellation.
Events go out
A provider outage never blocks billing or another connector, because each send is independent and a failed send does not stop anything else.
What it does not do yet
Limits are listed plainly so you can judge fit before you start.
An event is sent once. Arc does not retry a failed send, so an outage at a provider can drop an event.
Connectors send Arc events out. They do not read contacts or other data back from those tools.
